The following is an example of a banker calling an old, sub-prime, client to create a future loan:
The script:
Hey Mr. Jones, This is Ron from XYZ mortgage and I have some great news for you. XYZ mortgage just partnered with a firm that specializes in repairing credit reports. And as you know, credit plays a major role in determining what interest you will qualify for when you apply for a mortgage. Waterfield Credit can repair your credit and remove those collections we had a hard time with before. This will give us the boost we need in your credit score to refinance you into a new mortgage, knocking 2-3% off of your loan!
The analyst:
Make sure you explain that mortgage interest rates are determined by credit scores, so when Waterfield Credit deletes negative items off his credit report his credit score will skyrocket and he will qualify for a better loan. The borrower will also qualify for better interest rates on his credit cards, auto and insurance. This borrower will not look elsewhere for financing.
